RoyalistPlay Cookie Policy NZ
Cookies are small text files saved on your device by the websites you visit. They let a site remember you between page loads, keep you signed in and make sure the experience picks up where you left off. RoyalistPlay uses cookies for all three of these reasons and, with your consent, for a small set of analytics and marketing measurements that help us improve the product for New Zealand players.

Strictly necessary
These cookies keep you signed in, remember your preferences and protect the account from cross-site request forgery. They also remember your NZ$ currency setting, your odds format on the sports book and which categories you have collapsed in the casino lobby. They cannot be switched off because the site does not work without them.
Performance
Performance cookies measure how fast pages load, where errors occur and which screens take longer to render than expected. The data they collect is aggregated and never tied to your personal identity. These cookies are opt-in and can be declined without affecting anything else.
Analytics
Aggregated, non-identifying analytics tell us which pages players actually use, where they get stuck and which features deserve more development time. These cookies are opt-in and can be declined from the cookie banner without affecting any other part of the experience. We do not pass identifiable analytics data to third parties for any purpose other than service delivery.
Marketing
Marketing cookies measure the performance of campaigns we run with affiliate partners. They are also opt-in and can be revoked from the banner or from the privacy section in your account settings at any time. Declining marketing cookies does not affect what you can see on the site, only how the performance of our marketing is measured.
Third-party cookies
Some pages embed content from external providers such as game studios and payment providers. Those providers may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. RoyalistPlay does not control the cookies set by third parties, but we link to each provider's policy from the relevant page so you can review what is collected and why.
How long cookies last
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies stick around for a defined period, typically between one month and one year depending on the purpose. The exact lifetime for each cookie is listed in the cookie banner under the relevant category and is also surfaced in your browser's developer tools if you want to inspect what is set.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every modern browser includes a settings page where you can review, block or clear cookies. The location varies between browsers but is usually under Privacy or Site Settings. Blocking all cookies will sign you out of any site that needs them, including this one, and some features will stop working entirely until you allow strictly necessary cookies again.
Mobile and connected devices
On mobile, cookies are managed by your mobile browser rather than by the operating system. The same controls described above are available inside Safari, Chrome and Firefox on iOS and Android. RoyalistPlay does not ship a native app, so there is no separate device identifier outside of standard browser cookies and the local storage used to keep you signed in.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new category of cookie or change how an existing one is used, this page is updated and the cookie banner is re-shown so you can review your consent. The full version history is maintained internally and can be requested through the privacy team.
